2D1N Open Trip Labuan Bajo Komodo

Day One: Kelor Island – Rinca Island/Komodo Island – Kalong Island

Labuan Bajo will be the gate to your adventure in Komodo National Park. Before starting the sharing/open trip sailing Komodo. A driver will pick you up at your Labuan Bajo hotel at 09.00 am. you will be driven to the Komodo Harbor and use a sharing boat to go to Kelor Island. Your day one of the sharing trips sailing in Komodo National Park has just begun.

Kelor Island becomes the very first destination of this sharing trip, and you have to be prepared to enjoy trekking on the island. Trekking sounds tiring, especially since the island environment is pretty dry. However, after a lot of hard work and sweat, you will be able to enjoy the spectacular island and ocean view from the highest point of the island.

Enjoying the view from the top is not the only thing you can do on this island, for sure. This island can also become a perfect place to snorkel and swim due to its clear water. You can feel free to witness the beautiful underwater world in Komodo National Park.

You will not spend the whole day on Kelor Island, of course. The journey continue to Rinca or Komodo Island and trekking to this natural habitat of the Komodo Dragon. You will not find the opportunity of meeting the only Komodo Dragon in the world except in this island. You will meet the Komodo dragons in their natural habitat on Komodo National Park. Yet, this island is not the home for the dragons only.

You can also find other wildlife, including wild boars, buffalos, and Timor deer. You have to be very careful on the island because Komodo dragons can be dangerous. You always have to follow the instructions from the guide to keep yourself safe during the trip. The lunch will be served on the boat after your journey in Rinca or Komodo Island.

The boat will be your base camp during the two days and one night Sailing Trip Labuan Bajo Komodo. You will be able to enjoy the night in the middle of the national park. Before that, your afternoon will be spent near Kalong Island to see the magnificent view of the fruit bats that come out from the mangrove forest to hunt food.

The view of the bats waking up and flying around is not the only great thing you can witness at this place. The view becomes much more wonderful during the sunset. The water around Kalong Island is the best place to enjoy a magnificent sunset view.

Once the sun is completely set, the boat will move to another place that is safe enough to spend the night. Of course, you will enjoy dinner on the boat. More importantly, you will stay overnight on the boat. It can be a thrilling experience but it can also be an opportunity to watch the beautiful starry night sky in the middle of nature.

Day Two: Padar Island – Pink Beach – Taka Makassar – Manta Point

The great thing about staying the night on the boat is that your adventure in Komodo National Park can be started right away. You do not have to wake up early in the morning to catch the boat that will head to Padar Island because you are already on the boat.

It means that while the boat is heading to the island, you can continue sleeping. However, too much sleep will be such a waste because it is your opportunity to enjoy the beautiful view when the boat is sailing to Padar Island.

In this circumstance, you will have your breakfast on the boat while it is sailing to the first destination of the day. You can also prepare yourself because you will do another trekking, now on Padar Island. You will walk among the grass to reach the top of Padar Island. This is where you can see the amazing view of the island.

After trekking on Padar Island, you will go to Pink Beach as the next destination. It is called Pink Beach because the sand has a pinkish hue due to the coral remaining that is swept to the shore.

You can simply relax your legs and body after the tiring trekking adventure on the beach while enjoying the beautiful view. After all the trekking and snorkeling trips,  your lunch will be served on the boat.

Moving to Taka Makassar will be the next spot of your journey. Swimming at this spot will add more excitement of your journey. After that, your trip will be continued to Manta Point for another snorkeling experience.

If you are lucky, you can witness the giant Manta Rays. This will be the final destination of the trip. The boat will return to Labuan Bajo around 05.00 pm.

After 2 Days 1 Night Open Trip Sailing Labuan Bajo Komodo and arrived at harbor, we will drive you back to your hotel or right to the airport. End trip.
