ITINERARY

Day 01: Labuan Bajo – Kelor Island – Manjarite Island – Kalong Island

Starting the journey with the sailing trip to Komodo National Park. Our team will pick you up from Labuan Bajo area and transfer to harbour. Take on the boat, and have a safety briefing by the team. First visit will be Kelor Island. We will trek up to the hill and witness the view of the surrounding islands. Back to the boat, lunch will be served by the chef. Continue the exploration to the Manjarite Island, there we will do snorkelling to see the underwater wild life. Continue to Kalong Island, The magnificent sunset view is welcoming you with the show of the bats flying back to its home after collecting food in the across island. Then overnight experience on the boat with meals will be served.

Day 02: Padar Island – Pink Beach – Komodo Island – Taka Makassar – Manta Point

The second day of the sailing will be amusing. Wake-up at early morning to hike to Padar Island to catch the scenic sunrise from the top of the island. Enjoy the serene view and the fresh air in the very first time of the day. Trekking down, back to the boat and the breakfast is already served. After the breakfast, sail to the vibrant beach of Pink Beach. Enjoy your free time, swimming or play with water before we move to Komodo Island. At Komodo Island, we will wander guided with the ranger to see the Komodo Dragon. The ranger will provide you with the information related to the Komodo and we even able to observe the the habitat of the Komodo.

After the lunch, we will move to the other snorkelling spots, they are Taka Makassar and Manta Point. Once again go underwater and witnessing the underwater life, meet the Manta Rays if we are lucky and then back to the boat and ready to be served with freshly cooked dinner by the team.

Day 03: Kanawa Island – Labuan Bajo

The last day of the sailing trip, we are going to Kanawa Island for another exploration before we back to Labuan Bajo. Check-in to hotel for rest, and stay overnight before we continue the journey the next day.

Day 04: Labuan Bajo – Denge – Wae Rebo

From Labuan Bajo, we will drive to Denge Village, we will have our lunch at the local restaurant. Then move to Dintor, a starting point of the unique journey. Once we arrive at Dintor Village, bring your only most needed things in your bag because we will start trekking from down up to Wae Rebo Village for about 3 to 4 hours through the forest.

Once we arrive at the destination, you will be welcomed by the fresh view of the Wae Rebo Village that located in the highland. Take a while for rest, and then you can explore around the village and have an interaction with the locals, enjoy the culture and their daily routine. We will have an overnight at the Mbaru Niang, the traditional house in Wae Rebo, and served with local dish for dinner.

Day 05: Wae Rebo – Ruteng

Wake up in the morning and enjoy the serene sunrise from the highlands, surrounded by the lush greenery of the village. Before leaving, enjoy a local breakfast to fuel your trek down to Denge Village, where your journey about to continue and your car awaits. Trekking in the morning after breakfast will be an extraordinary experience, and you will surely witness panoramic views all around.

Once we arrive in Denge Village and meet the team, we will proceed to Cancar Village to sightsee the Spider Web Rice Fields. Have lunch before continuing to Ruteng for an overnight stay.

Day 06: Ruteng – Ranamese Lake – Aimere – Bajawa

From Ruteng, we will continue on to Bajawa. We will start by grabbing breakfast. As was the case yesterday, we will not simply perform a direct transfer to the next destination. We will also make some stops along the way.

The first stop will be at Rana Mese Lake, where we will take a short sightseeing tour. We won’t spend much time here because we have a long journey ahead. Rana Mese Lake is located in Golo Village. It is a mountainous lake surrounded by dense forests and a deep crater. After a brief visit to Rana Mese Lake, we will have lunch before continuing on to Aimere.

Once we arrive in Aimere Village, we will participate in a unique activity: observing the traditional distillation of local wine. You may have the opportunity to taste the local wine. Then, we will move on to Bajawa. Before checking in to our accommodations, we will enjoy the stunning sunset from Wolobobo Hill.

Day 07: Bajawa – Bena Village – Riung

After breakfast, we’ll keep exploring Flores Island. From Bajawa, we will head to Bena Village. It is a traditional Ngada village rich in megalithic culture. Our exploration of Bena Village’s rich history will be followed by our next stop: Riung. It is a long journey, so you will have about two and a half hours to sleep during the drive. Located in the northern part of Flores Island, Riung is the gateway to the stunning marine park.

Day 08: Riung 17 Island

In this day, we will expore the 17 Islands Marine Park of Riung. A very exciting island hoping activity to have in this overland journey that add the variety of exploration in Flores Island.

17 Islands Riung is a National Marine Park that has an absolute beautiful landscape. This stunning archipelago consists of beaches and islands. The idyllic island is perfectly counterbalance to the central Flores that chilly highland and villages that we have been stepping. In 17 Island we will take on boat and do the island hopping from one island to another. There will be Ontoloe Island the home of bats, Rutong Island for underwater snorkelling, also Tiga and Tembang Island to perfects the sightseeing of this island hopping.

Day 09: Riung – Moni

After resting overnight last night following our unforgettable island-hopping experience, we will continue our journey from Riung to Moni. It is a long journey, with a drive time of four and a half hours. On the way, we will stop at a restaurant for lunch. Before reaching Moni Village, we will visit Wologai Village and a coffee plantation.

Wologai Village is a traditional village that has stood for around 800 years. Its traditional buildings are unique and meaningful. Construction of the buildings must be preceded by a “Naka Wasu” ritual. This ritual involves slaughtering a chicken and cutting down a tree in the forest at midnight. Aside from the unique houses, the village holds a very interesting cultural heritage.

Then, we will move on to the coffee plantation before finishing our day in Moni Village, where we will rest overnight. Located in the highlands with a fresh, chilly environment, coffee grows best here. During our short stop, we will learn a little about the coffee plantation.

Day 10: Moni – Kelimutu – Ende

Wake-up call at 3:30, and we will start moving to the starting point at 4:00. Then, we will go on a short hike to a spot where we can see the sunrise. You can bring hot drink to be enjoyed while the sun illuminates the spiritual volcanic crater. From the top, we will also be able to see gorgeous three-colored Lake Kelimutu. After enjoying the view of Kelimutu Park, we will have breakfast and then be dropped off in Ende.
