Padar Island Pink Beach is one of the most beautiful tourist attractions in the world. Why not? Unlike Bali, the Pink Beach Labuan Bajo is far from civilization. The distance is around 30 kilometers from Labuan Bajo. It is a bit of far, right?

Padar Island is actually the third among the biggest islands in the Komodo National Park. A long time ago, before tourism was massive, the island was a habitat of komodo dragons. Now, there is no komodo dragon left on that island.

Beaches on Padar Island is in the list of one of the 10 unique beaches of Atlas Obscura. Why? Because it is not just the Pink Beach in there. There are two beaches on that island. There is a beach that has white sand as a pearl, and the other one is black. And of course, the rare pink sand beach is the last.

The body of Padar Island is unique. Not to mention Padar Island Pink Beach and the other beaches around it, which makes the body of the island looks beautiful. Most of the island parts are covered by meadows, and the surrealist landscape limited by mountains of bright green that looks like in a fairy tale.

With the size of the island that isn’t very big, including the three unique beaches, the island is very unique. The black sand beach was from vulcanic, which contain dark minerals. The pink beach is actually a combination of red corals with white sand, and then, made the beach has the rare pink sand. After that, the white sand beach made the island looks spectacular.

Padar Island is also a home of various wild animals, especially when it comes to their sizes. There are six species of shark living in there, two species of manta rays, and many kinds of reptiles. A long time ago, there were three species of komodo dragons, but they have left the island. Other animals in there are dolphins, eagles, whales, geckos, and green turtles.

Tourists can climb the mountains, which can take around 30 minutes to the top. In there, you can see the landscape of Padar Island. The other things you can do are snorkeling or just relaxing or lazying in the Padar Island Pink Beach or the other beaches. From Labuan Bajo, there are many tour groups went to Padar Island every day. They usually visit it for a day, two days, or three days.
